Loose Women

This week's Mamma ATC swap theme is CORSETS/BASQUES. I have submitted two. One is of Madonna in her famous pointy bra corset; the other was inspired by an image I found while googling corsets. It shows how the internal organs of respectable, 'straight-laced' women were squished and quite possibly permanently damaged by corsets. No wonder they were always fainting! A loose woman (uncorsetted) may have scandalised our great grandfathers but she was probably a lot healthier (as long as she wasn't over fond of the gin!)
